Our school is involved in the Yellow Flag programme. This programme is a practical programme that supports primary and secondary schools to become more inclusive of all cultures
and ethnicities, celebrate diversity and challenge racism and discrimination. It was exciting for our school to become involved in the Blast programme 2022-2023 as a further model of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) with particular reference to Dance education to help with our engagement with this programme. Dance is not only a strand of the Physical Education Curriculum but it is also recognised as part of the Arts Curriculum. Our 1st to 3rd classes undertook a programme of work Suggested Unit of Work using the theme of Cultures and Ethnicities.
