Update from HSE for School community 15/05/21

                                                                                                                                           18/05/21

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Another confirmed case of Covid-19 in your child’s school has been notified to the Department of Public Health HSE- South.

Your child has NOT been identified as a close contact at this time, therefore your chid does not need a test for Covid-19, they do not need to restrict movements, and no further actions are required at this time.

If your child develops any symptoms suggestive of Covid-19 infections (such as a cough, a fever, loss or change in sense of taste or smell), your child should stay at home, you should phone your GP for further advice, and household members should restrict their movements while awaiting GP advice.

The Department of Public Health HSE- South is monitoring the school situation.

Further  information on Covid-19 is available at www.hpsc.ie and www.gov.ie

Please remain vigilant and do not send your child to school if they are unwell. Please wear masks and social distance when on the school campus.

Kind regards,
Yvonne Crosse
