Placido Domingo Junior and Amanda Neri visited St. Patrick’s Girls’ National School on Gardiner’s Hill earlier today Friday the 4th of December. We had a special prize all wrapped up for them. It was our newly refurbished library which was a special project that was completed recently by our Parents’ Group. The refurbishment was a huge undertaking, which included the rejuvenation of our parquet floor as well painting the room to reflect the sky and our aspirations for the future. Of course, we couldn’t let Placido Domingo Jr and Amanda Neri cut the tinsel/ribbon and go. We asked them to sit down and treated them to a few Christmas Carols by Ms Crosse’s and Ms Linehan’s 4th Classes. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet with such superstars, and I have no doubt that they saw a few stars of the future. Click on this link to see an excerpt of the girls wonderful singing.
