The girls in 5th Class have been learning about Magnetism and Magnetic Fields in Science. They designed and made their own Magnetic Matchbox cars using a variety of materials including matchboxes, sellotape, blue tack, cocktail sticks, straws, cardboard and magnets.
They learned that Magnetic Matchbox cars can be moved using the repelling force between the like poles of two magnets. Great fun was had by all. Well done girls.
