5th class had a fun nature walk at Glen Park! The students identified different plants and animals and learned about how they all live together in the park. It was a great way to explore and learn outside the classroom.

5th class were delighted to be invited to be part of the audience in City Hall for the Cork Choral Festival. Everyone enjoyed listening to all fantastic songs. There was even a chance for some dancing while we waited for the winners to be announced.

5th class had a needle felting workshop with the Mayfield Arts Centre. Working with felt was a new experience for most of the class. As you can see, they are future feltmakers in the making.

5th class had great fun dressing up as their favourite character from a book for World Book Day and found some unusual cosy spots around our school to read.
