Some of the children were composing songs this month! They used Chrome Music Lab Song Maker to experiment with sounds and create their own unique piece of music on the computer. They made up a tune, added percussion, chose instruments, composed harmonies, and decided on the tempo.
Here is a picture of one composition we made. The circles and triangles are the percussion line. The coloured squares are the tune. The squares at the top of the page are the high notes and the squares at the bottom are the low notes. This composition is for piano and electronic percussion:
