On Saturday the 25th of February a few girls from 5th class went to the Old Water Works at the Lifetime Lab to collect our trophy for winning 1st place in the Cork Heritage project. Our class made a project about life in Cork during the 1940s and 1950s. For this project we interviewed a past pupil of St. Patrick’s GNS called Helen. When we arrived at the Lifetime Lab there were lots of people from different schools to collect their prizes. We got our trophy from the Deputy Lord Mayor and took a few pictures. Later we looked through our whole project and everybody loved it. After that everybody went home. It was a wonderful day. Our prize for winning 1st place is a Lego workshop. We are so excited for the Lego workshop. We will display the project on the school website soon.
