6th Class thoroughly enjoyed working on a local recycling Art competition in October. The competition was organised by our local community newsletter ‘Mayfield Matters’ Given the time of year and popularity of Autumn wreaths , we decided to create our own. Tori sourced recycled cardboard and willingly cut out circular wreaths for everyone in the class. We collected leaves and countless egg cartons to create our floral masterpieces. We soon set to work; designing, painting, cutting and gluing. Some girls in the class created and submitted few pieces . Our efforts were rewarded with a class prize alongside two individual winners that were rewarded with ‘One for All ‘ vouchers . Well done to everyone involved . The project was enjoyed by all and met with immense enthusiasm. We are looking forward to tackling more creative projects soon. “you can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have “
